Welcome to Lake Douglas Hunting and Fishing Lodge Inc. Lake Douglas Hunting and Fishing Lodge is an owner-operated facility located on the banks of Lake Douglas in Central Newfoundland, Canada. We hunt Area 17 (Millertown) - known as the wildlife capital of Newfoundland.

The lodge is a full-service facility supplemented with spike camps to offer more variety to our clients. The lodge has the capability to accommodate  16 persons, but we restrict hunters to six, which allows us time with each hunter and also provides better success.

Our past success rate speaks for itself as we take pride in our ability to offer hunts to suit more hunter physical conditions. We cater to bow, rifle and black powder hunters. The owners are avid hunters and have successfully taken all three Newfoundland big game animals (Moose, Woodland Caribou, Black Bear) with both the bow and the rifle.

The lodge is among the most modern available and offers semi-private accommodations, generated electricity, showers, flush toilets, color TV, VCR and a remote telephone system. There is a full-scale butchering room with saws, knives and wrapper on site, as well as a large walk-in chiller/freezer.
