If you want to hunt a trophy-class caribou, then the woodland caribou should be your focus. Both The Boone and Crockett as well as The Pope and Young record books are full of record-class woodland caribou taken in Newfoundland - the only location available to harvest these magnificent animals. In relation to other caribou, the woodland caribou are large in body size and for the patient hunter, record-book animals are readily available.

We have enjoyed a very high success rate on our woodland caribou hunts and we expect this to remain, partly because our herd is not prone to large migration patterns and our lodge location offers excellent hunting opportunities
